Among his accomplishments are the following: He developed the concept for the Center for Networked Multimedia; built the first prototype at Verizon's Madison facility. He is the co-inventor of broadband DSL internet access technology.

Dr. Judice championed its development in the local telephone companies. He pioneered the development of video-on-demand. He conceived of an extended classroom business opportunity in multimedia educational telecommunications; this idea became the first fielded application of MPEG and DSL in the world. Dr. Judice conceived the idea of transmitting TV images over ordinary telephone lines; then led its development and technology transfer. He was one of the creators of the MPEG standards activity. This work is one of the principal drivers of the predicted one trillion dollar multimedia applications business.

He conceived and led the development of the first screen-based telephony prototype integrating voice and data services on a personal computer. This work evolved into a computer architecture design similar to today's X-terminals. He invented the image display and compression technology to allow the confluence of computing and communication services, and he developed an early precursor to multimedia applications and coined the term virtual terminal. He conceived and led the development of digital storytelling technologies for Eastman Kodak. This has led to one of its most successful ''value-added'' digital photography products of that company.

Dr. Judice communicates complex concepts and technologies to audiences ranging from the technically naive with business savvy to the technically sophisticated with strong academic interests. He is a fellow IEEE; a member of Sigma Xi, Sigma Pi Sigma and SALT.
