John R. Gammino

Mr. Gammino is President of American Telemanagement Solutions, L.L.C. (ATS), a company that provides executive consulting and auditing services to the telecommunications industry. He has assisted clients in achieving billions of dollars in revenues from telecommunications businesses. He brings a unique combination of large corporate (17 years with NJ Bell) and entrepreneurial experience to his clients. Mr. Gammino headed numerous organizations at NJ Bell including the Corporate Security Department. He worked with federal and state agencies and attended antiterrorism training programs sponsored by the FBI, the International Association of Chiefs of Police and others. He was a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He also successfully started and managed three corporations, two of which have been acquired and one which is currently operational.

Mr. Gammino's consulting activities have been extensive and cover a wide range of management activities including market analysis, strategic business planning, the procurement process, merger and acquisition support, expert witness testimony, and regulatory process, technology and competitive analyses. Since 1984, he has provided consulting services to over 150 client firms and agencies in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, England, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Thailand and Korea.

Among the corporate clients that Mr. Gammino has assisted are AT&T, MCI, Bell Atlantic, Verizon Communications, Pacific Bell, GTE Supply, Northern Telecom, Time Warner Communications, Bell Canada, British Telecom, Landis & Gyr, Plessey PLC and others. Among the government clients to which Mr. Gammino has provided consulting assistance are the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (in the United States, Europe and Pacific regions), the Navy Exchange Command, the states of California, Alabama and North Carolina, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the City of Philadelphia, the Massachusetts Port Authority, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit Authority.

Mr. Gammino has participated in approximately 19 merger or acquisition engagements. These engagements involved the examination of market, regulatory, technological and competitive factors and the valuation of assets. He has provided expert witness testimony before regulatory bodies, arbitration tribunals and juries. He has been retained as an expert witness in international disputes related to the telecommunications industry. Mr. Gammino has also served as an arbitrator for the International Court of Arbitration in Switzerland.

In excess of 100 of his articles' interviews have been published in the news media including: the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, USA Today, the Washington Business Journal, the London Sunday Times, the National OTC Stock Journal, Communications Week, and in trade journals such as Public Communications Magazine, Perspectives on Public Communications, Telephony Magazine Telephone Engineer and Management and others. In addition, he has addressed over 40 national and international industry conferences.

Mr. Gammino has been awarded three patents by the United States Patent Office. These patents involve network security and detection and prevention of fraudulent international calls and simplified dialing protocols.

Mr. Gammino is a graduate of Colgate University and has attended select courses at the Wharton School of Business, Rutgers Graduate School of Business and the Brookings Institute.
